...so peremptorily turned down my appeal against a 2 match suspension.
Or I'm effin gutted.
Why did Rooney use one of those sentence's when speaking to a reporter from The Times and the second when talking with BBC Radio?

He couldn't...even begin to get his tongue round a word like that .But an old prossie different matter.
My guess is the Times quote comes from a Man U press release.

No he didn't. I just put that in to help contrast the two statements.
With a two match ban who is getting punished the most.
a, Him
b, The club
c, The fans

With the way he is playing at the present there is a good chance he would score in the next two games .
If city win the semi match it is the fans that lose out on a cup final a better punishment would be to ban him from travelling abroad for 6 months unless it is for a football match.

That way he will not be sunning himself on a tropical beach for a few months and will hit him harder that a two match ban.
