Hi, When I moved to Greece I took my television (bought in the UK) with me, but now we are moving back to the UK. My question is will my television still work in the UK as I know I heard something about everyone had to buy a new television because of switching off the transmitter in Cumbria. I bought the tv in 1995 and it is one of those widescreen ones with a big box at the back.It still works great though. It is a Nicam Digital stereo one. I would be very grateful for any replies. Thanks in advance.Valeriea.

the tv service in cumbria is now digital (the caldbeck transmitter was one of the first to change from analogue). so you'll need to "switch", but you can still use your TV. see here http://www.digitaluk.co.uk/how_do_i_switch
