oceans 11

Don cheadle who plays the pretend cockney (Bash)does not get a credit at the end of Oceans 11. Does anyone know why? I've checked imdb and although it mentions the fact on the trivia section for the film it doesn't say why.

I read on a MovieMistakes website that he asked not to be credited, but gave no reasn why.  Although they could just be getting this from the same trivia track you saw. 

I've also read that he was annoyed that his name was not listed with the "major" stars on the Billboards.  This seems a little inconsistent with opting to have no credit at the end. 

I think the definitive answer is - no-one knows!  I go with the accent theory - comparisons with Dick van Dyke seem a little harsh... on Diagnosis Dick! :p
