Do you have an actor or actress that would make you avoid a film if they are one of the main actors? For me it would be Ben Affleck, Brendan Frazer and Jennifer Lopez.

Some repeats here. Jack Black (tries too hard to be funny), Stephen Tompkinson (annoying accent), Ben Affleck (same in every film, only got about three expressions), Alan Alda (devoid of any charisma and boring), Keeley Hawes (wooden), John Thompson (lifeless), Michelle Collins ( same in everything. Dreading her being in Corrie), Daniel Day-Lewis (hammy and overrated).

WuTang
forgot that Russell Grahnt had a film - definite for the Dumper!!

Do you mean the astrologer or Russell Brand??
you know the one i mean - Gob on a stick!!
Owen Wilson - can't stand him. Ben Stiller and Adam Sandler. They are saving me a fortune in cinema fees as they seem to be in everything.
Leonardo De Caprio
Meryl Streep
Jude Law
Liz Hurley
although the last two I wouldn't even credit as actor or actress
or a cross between Hugh Grant and Russell Brand - what a Monsterous Creation!
Kevin Costner and Julia Roberts was always a turn off. and now angelina jolie...mainly because every film I've watched recently with her starring sounds like it should be good and always has turned out to be absolutely terrible including 'The tourist' even though it has the gorgeous Johny Depp alongside her. :O(
Oh yes .Steven seagal too. His 'acting' is painful and you know that you're going to get around an hour and a half of complete tosh.

Yeah, I tend to avoid Julia Roberts because of the trademark Smile that I'm sure she is contractually obliged to perform 20 times per film. Jude Law, yes. I want to like Jack Black but he has gone downhill all the way since the enjoyable School of Rock. I used not to like Owen Wilson because of the film Behind Enemy Lines but actually I think he is quite funny now.
Anthony Hopkins and David Jason - without a doubt.
Jenarry, I'm not a big Angelina Jolie fan, but I thought that 'Salt' was fantastic.
Michael Caine
Jim Carey
Vin Diesel
Gwyneth Paltrow
Cate Blanchett
Macauley Culkin
John Wayne
Chris Rock
Any comedy actor (I hate comedy films)
Glenn Close.
I can't believe I got to the 70th post till someone mentioned Angelina Jolie! I can't stand the woman and think she has zero talent, she's the same in every film and only has one expression.
Steven Seagal (ditto).
Robin Williams
Russell (I'm so funny, me) Brand
And that bloke who plays Austin Powers.
There are quite a lot more but can't think of them yet.
Tom Cruise comes close but I will tolerate him if the film gets a good write up, and the same goes for Russell Crowe..
Jim Carrey
Gwyneth Paltrow
Mischa Barton
Russell Brand
Woody Allen
Woody Harrelson
Sarah Jessica Parker

Although not strictly a film actor - Ricky Gervais - am I the only persom not to have found "The Office" funny?
Question Author
The thing about Tom Cruise is, yes he's a weirdo, but he's a very good actor I think and most of his films are quite good.
Nicolas cage is normally verrrry irritating but he has a good sense of humour when it comes to comedy.
Adam Sandler. Nicolas Cage
ummm the film 'salt' . it wasn't the worst action film i've seen but the plot had quite a few holes in it arti..such as why on earth didn't the angelina jolie character just go all out to rescue her husband ???? and I so wish I'd never watched the tourist. it was so bad and even Johny Depp's acting wasn't up to much in it.. :O(
Micky Rourke - Mel Gibson
