Did you see E E tonight,? for this episode alone June Brown should get an award.
Bearing in mind this lady is in her 80s what a truly great actress she is.
What a convincing part she is playing.
Me too Weaten, and it takes a lot to move me. When she said she'd cheated on Jim because she'd let someone else hold her hand.... Well that got me. (sniff)
I get to see it tonight, hope it's not too sad! I thought she had a lovely figure when she was wearing that blue suit when she was waiting to go to tea dance.
The storyline is so sad and true to life, and normally I rate June Brown's acting. However I felt last night was not her best - I found it to be a bit 'strange' for want of a better description. There were some bits that almost made me fill up, but there were also some parts that made me think it was a bit cheesy.
