R.I.P. Zippy

The BBC report the passing of Roy Skelton, the second, but longest serving voice of Zippy and George in Rainbow, and the Daleks in 1960s and 70s Doctor Who.

He always seemed such a nice man in the interviews I read...

I always think of RS as a Dalek first, and the Rainbow voices after.

I was nine when the Daleks first apppeared, and I really did hide behind the sofa!
