Maybe because I am used to seeing them in other roles, but they just don't seem right in corrie!

Perhaps it won't be too long before we have a combined soap, called Albert Farm Street.....

Why do they think we like to watch these people over and over. The only one I think is better than she was in Corrie is Suran Jones (in Scott and Bailey now.)
Question Author
Yes, I like Suranne too and that one who used to play Raquel.
Can`t be worse than David Essex in EE, one minute he`s having a pint in the vic, next he`s in Carols kitchen fixing a fruit machine on her kitchen table!
Does anyone know why Becky is leaving Corrie [and sooner than intended]?
What about those accents!
Katherine Kelly (Becky) explains all here

I think the newcomers will settle in just fine.

They will if they work for the bbc
another game of musical soaps, no don't like her anyway, better stick to ackney, and leave the northerners to get on with it. The storyline have been too barmy at any rate, so i have lost my enthusiasm for it.
It's reflecting real life now, though - people do move all over the country to find work, I've done it myself - it wouldn't be at all unusual to find Londoners working in Liverpool, and vice versa.
you have to admit for such a small area, a lot disasters happen, murder, arson, rape, cat fights galore, crime on an unprecedented scale, and how many have gone to prison, tracey, gail, david, graham, deidre, and thats only the ones i remember, in one street, or two, more criminals there than in Holloway, what do they put in the water oop north.
Same with emmerdale, em - I've lived in this street for twelve years and although we've had a murder and some druggies, (fingers crossed) no planes have ever fallen on us....
indeed, a plane falling out of the sky, and it hits a village the size of a postage stamp
whats the chance of that.
Sadly, it happened to Lockerbie in 1988.... the odds must minimal, hardly worth risk assessing.
well yes there was lockerbie, but that wouldn't have happened had not some bstard put a bomb on board.
