I took my nieces to see Robots. I think the slightly unrealistic effect of CGI animation suited the film perfectly. Can anyone provide a full cast list? some of the names on the credits really surprised me... Terry Wogan(?)- who did Jim Broadbent play? or Cat Deeley for that matter...

Also, I love hearing a Tom Waits song in the middle of a children's film, don't you?

I'm afraid I can't tell you which characters Wogan and Deeley voiced, but I rather suspect that they only appear in the UK release, and "their" characters are voiced in other countries by local celebs of similar stature. Of course, I would be somewhat more delighted if this cynical ploy wasn't being used...

Wogan was the baddy's (can't remember his name) father, who was hanging on a hook in the scrapyard place.

Cat Deeley was a secretary/receptionist at the Bigweld company - the one that Fender sort of got off with at the party and took home.
