One Show Format

Has it changed for good ? Let's hope so. So refreshing not to hear Alex Jones with her grating voice and chavvy false laugh. She seems to be turning into Christine Bleakley, not a good look. Anyone agree?

think it's just for a summer break and things will return to 'normal' soon.
i really don't like alex jones, she quite often seems at a bit of a loss, and rarely watch the whole programme with her as a presenter. i really liked christine bleakley and whilst not a great fan of adrien chiles i thought they were a good team. it's not been the same since they both left.

Christine was much better than Alex Jones, wasn't a good move for Christine to do Daybreak she was more bubbly and knowledgable than Alex and could take part in conversation without relying on the autocue. Alex was chosen for the show because she resembled Christine but unfortunately it didn't work, shows how inventive the BBC are.

I've always felt that Alex is a Christine look-alike anyway - the show is certainly not what it was.

i like alex jones, nothing wrong with he accent and laugh in my view. christine used to grate on me though, she was better on mute.

Have you seen Christine on Daybreak recently?

She looks terrible - too much sun and she is aging rapidly.

Mind you, try as I might I can't warm to Ms Jones either.

Ha, ha. All I ever liked about The One Show was Adrian Chiles!! I know I am in the minority, but to me he was The One Show. I just love him, grumpy scruffy, etc. I know.......................... I have weird tastes.
