The above programme (1st in series) was great the other night about Ludlow - apparently it's one of 4 and a spin off of COAST (ie IN LAND!!) They are going to be about Perth, Scarborough and Taunton too apparently - anyone know if further series have been commissioned?? TIA

Don't know about another series but I liked the programme too. It made a change form Coast and gave a really interesting history of a place I knew nothing about.

Lets hope they work their way around the counrty eventually.

Am with you on that Maidup Know lots about Ludlow and been there many times but it told me lots I didn't know and never would have known Loved it!

We found it very interseting as we stay a lot in Ludlow. We also learned a lot about the place.

Is it me, or does it sound like Nicholas Crane is trying to sound like Dan Cruickshank? (The quietly spoken tall grey haired man who does the history/ period property programmes). The way he ends his sentences is so irritating ... listen out for it

I hope not. I can't enjoy a programme presented by Dan Cruickshank. Why does he need to whisper?
