I love this programme. Just catching up with tonights on +1.

It really makes you appreciate what the staff have to deal with on a daily basis.

I love shows like this where you appear to get a real insight into what happens. I usually end up in tears at some stage.
I never miss it and tonight's made me cry, lovely Ted and his wife.
Felt so sorry for Ted's wife, she realy loved him.
I missed the last bit, how did Ted get on?

oh he doesnt die at the end of this then? it just says does it? Have just seen man with lip hanging off
What a difference between old and young.

Ted who had terminal cancer never complained, only that he was bored, yet the young guy who fell of a skateboard fracturing his foot/leg was moaning and groaning about having blood taken and then had a go at the male nurse for spilling blood on his favorite jeans.

He so be so lucky compared to Ted who died 10 days later.. Makes me so annoyed how the younger element are such weaklings these days!!!!

We're not all like that TRT, I promise!

I can't say I ever understand the huge fear of needles. Especially as most of the people I know who claim to be scared of them all seem to have at least one tattoo.
Agree with Milly. You can't say that all the young are like that these days. My son is less of wimp than I am and think of all those young soldiers.
You can't categorise.

I can't watch programmes like this. I can't even deal with Holby City or Casualty!!
What about that stupid man who had a splinter in his thumb for a month - glad they chucked him out!
It's a very good programme. My daughter and I watched it and cried at the end when Ted died. Such a lovely man and the nurse was so upset. She asked the question, "why do they all die at night?" We wondered why, as my husband died at night too, after leaving him at the end of visiting with just a kiss and "I'll see you tomorrow". No warning.
I too love this excellent programme. I nearly started my own thread asking if others enjoyed it too. So sad when lovely Ted died. Did you see a recent one where this chap fell off a ladder and he was brain damaged and they all feared the worse? Even in the hospital bed when he came round from surgery it didn't look good with his eyes rolling round and round, and then at the end there he was almost fully recovered with his brother. Boy, did I cry. Wonderful stuff....

I was so please when the Doctor told the guy with the slinter that he was wasting their time and to go and see his GP. What a muppet, showing up at A&E with a splinter.

I saw that one too Notas.. I was so sad when they showed him lying in the bed looking like he had no chance. I wasn't expecting to see him so well at the end. Made me cry too.
