Am I the only person who thinks the plot lines are just bonkers at the moment? Norris in the toilet was unfunnyt, the Marcia/Mark thing just too odd, Tommy going to see the Doc - as if! not to mention the forgotten plots ie where are James and Colin/John? Just evaporated? More nonsense this week I gather with Tyrone and Tommy putting a villain in a fridge! When did it become a sitcom? I'm very disappointed.

I'm just worried about this so-called policeman who has decided to charge Fiz with all the murders - despite the fact that when Charlotte was being smacked over the head, poor Fiz was enduring labour pains in hospital. I mean, imagine reporting your lost dog to him, he'd probably get capital punishment reinstated especially for you!!! And when a dirty,...

It called panic .
off the radar
there was something so brilliant on last evening that we turned over from corrie, the storylines are going into the realms of la la land so mostly its off.
Marc/Marcia done it for me.
I agree dance2trance
I stopped watching it for about a year as they seemed to be trying to be Eastenders but with even sillier lines. I chanced upon it recently and it seems to have regained it's sense of humour at last.
Sorry, I sent that before finishing what I was going to say!! I was going to say there are some good characters in it at the moment but they're not making good use of them. It was good to see 'Dennis Tanner' back but there is no story line for him. Sylvia is great and gets some good lines but I do hope we have now seen the last of Marc/Marcia 'cos I don't like watching him in either guise. Which of the characters would you like to see more of?
no, a Proms concert, that beat anything on all the other channels, it was fun, inventive, and musically brilliant.

I mean, imagine reporting your lost dog to him, he'd probably get capital punishment reinstated especially for you!!! And when a dirty, wild-eyed John finally bursts into court and confesses, well of course everyone will instantly believe him and she'll go free! Dear oh dear, scraping the bottom of the barrel for stories, or what?
Norris on the toilet counts as a plot? I guess that would be toilet humour then, would it not?
I agree - its dreadful at the moment, BUT the one ray of humour has to be Sylvia, she is becoming as funny as Blanche was and has some cracking "one-liners" Fed up with Kylie and David (get rid) Marc/Marcia (goodbye, good riddance) Prison (too predictable) Stellas daughter (can't even remember her name, shes so awful) Dev (what a drip he's turned out to be) Gail and Deirdre (about time they retired) Very sad to hear Becky is going, she was good with Steve, I like Lloyd, and I love Roy and Hayley and Dr Matt, and Frank (but why turn him into a baddie?)
Have to agree re the storylines...some are dire. As for the doctor dating Tina and staying overnight in the house...what! Don't think so! What a shame things have gone this way, it used to have good northern humour and gritty characters in it, now they just seem to want quantity rather than quality and try to be another Eastenders. Even the sets are so dark you can't see the picture properly, I mean, not all old houses are dark and dank...seems they don't get much right lately and that's a real shame.
I dont like the prison storyline , it's too sinister
Who is James, mentioned earlier? I love Julie, please keep her.
I do agree with OP. the bit where Tommy visited the doc was awful, we all know you have to wait 7 - 10 days to see your doc of choice.
Lyn, James plays Ken's grandson, but in real life is his actual son.
Thanks Daisy. I suspect he has gone the way of Adam, Tracy and Amy etc.
Lynbrown - doctors is way worse for that! one doctor spends all day chasing round after one patient sometimes.
Daft? Daft as a barmcake.
Agree with you postdog about Doctors. The Doctors seem to chase after the one patient all day and nobody at the Mill notices that they are missing and some patients can get 3 appointments in one day. It can take you a fortnight to get one appointment let alone 3 at the one time. So unrealistic.
