He's doing 100 greatest gadgets on Channel 4...isn't he just lovely?!

I could listen to him talking for ever! He's so funny on twitter, he's just one of the best things about modern culture.

He's certainly well-informed!
Well, I hope that on the new series of QI he stops fiddling around with his specs - they're on, they're off, they're on again , all through the show......
I so totally agree with you Halifaxmum! He is one of my all time favorite people ... interesting, intelligent, witty, outspoken!

ginge - i think he might be long-sighted, so he has to keep taking them off to read the cards, but put em back on to read the autocue!

I have seen him many times and had a bit of road rage with him aswell when he held me up on a road on way to work lol

wouldn't hurt him to cut down his workload a bit. I'm scared to open a box of matches in case I find him performing inside.

ooh jno! get u! u can't insult sir stephen of fry! lol ;)
never forget when an old mate from school visited me and we went to a local pub. We walked past a load of people outside and sat down and my mate said 'I'm sure that was the dad of someone we used to know from school' I said 'oh I didnt see' late the man walked in and my friend said 'thats him' and I said 'you just recognise him from tv its Stephen Fry!'
not really insulting, halifaxmum, I do like him, I just think he's on way too many programmes.
Question Author
what's he on? qi, this C4 thing, not much else recently?! or have i missed him?
Guess he's making up for the time of his depression when he locked himself away from the world
I have just finished reading the second volume of his autobiography 'The Fry Chronicles'. I didn't enjoy it as much as V1 as it was a lot less linear. It does go a bit further in describing his attitude to work etc. This may explain why we see/hear him a lot.
I like him - especially since he lost the lard.
Question Author
scot - thank you for that review of his books, but don't be so hard on us tubbies :)
Sylph-like doesn't exactly describe me either.
