Film on ITV about 2 weeks ago

A few Saturday's ago there was a film on at around midnight on ITV1 about a couple, their friend and their baby whose town had some sort of power cut and the baby was ill so they had to escape to get medication, food, etc.  As they are driving they realise that everyone will be running out of fuel and they have to get some, but can't trust anybody, the friend ends up getting shot and the husband has to wlk miles to a house to see if the residents can help. 

I missed the start and want to know what it's called and why they were running from the town in the first place.
