and what a motley bunch we have on Strictly Come Dancing this year. The usual chunky athlete, hunky athlete, ageing stars, obligatory politician and sundry non-celebrities. Is it sad that I am REALLY looking forward to to again?????

I'm sorry it's that time of year again, I'm sorry but I can't stand the programme.
they all seem old this time
I usually like this and get quite involved in it but I thought the people in it this year look a bit awful (I can't stand LuLu), and also, Bruce is very waring.
I really enjoy all the reality stuff on TV. why has everything got to be serious? Anyway, there are plenty of other programmes to watch
I'm sad too Anngel. I'm looking forward to it too. A agree a lot more 'oldies' this year but as I'm an 'oldie' myself I'm quite happy with that :)
Ive never really watched it but I remember an annoying habit that bruce forsythe used to have of saying a crap joke and then looking at the audience, waiting for the laugh. it was always cringeworthy because he used to over do it.
I don't say that everything has to be serious, I just don't like all these competition programmes which seem to be everywhere at the moment.

I often video it and fast forward through the Brucie bits. He is truly cringeworthy. I know he is considered to be a national treasure but...really???
I'm only watching it for Dan Lobb....love him!
You are absolutely right boxtops ....I don't see the point of it at all.
The trouble with national treasure is it's not all buried.
I used to enjoy Strictly, but I've had enough now. I feel like I feel when I've eaten too much cake, sick and over sugared.

No more pleeeease....
Can't stand the programme, detest Bruce and wouldn't watch it even if it was the only programme on the telly!
I cant wait to see Robbie Savage in the latin dances.
I might be inclined to have a look at it if it wasn't hosted by Bruce Forsythe. A man whose charms and talents completely escape me......
Bruce Forsyth a National Treasure? Do you not mean Where did they dig him up from.
don't watch, after the John sargeant debacle, that rather turned me off.
