Lulu on Strictly

What do you think the reason was for her being so terrible? She's been dancing in front of audiences for over five decades...and Brendan is a great choreographer. Is she just so old she can't remember what she's doing, or is all that botox seeping into her brain?

I've never particularly like Lulu, she comes over to me as being desperate to prove she's a youthful pensioner but still amazingly full of pep and vigour - frankly, she makes me want to puck. But, there is no ways I would have had the nerve to 'put up' on a show like SCD so fair do's to her - she got it wrong but carried on and has to face next week. Let's see what happens.

i meant poor her that she's being criticized for not dancing like a 20 year old when she's in her 60's. I couldn't dance like she does and i'm in my 30's. Not poor love she's in her 60's

She has had WEEKS to practice that ONE routine and she has c0cked it up.

Anita Dobbs is also in her 60s and was much better.
Lulu is still fit and able, she's just no good at dancing.

I haven't watched her on Strictly but I have to admit I have always found her an embarrassment to the Scottish nation.

I don`t normally follow the programme but I saw the first couple of dances last night. When I read the line up I did think Lulu would be good. Maybe because of the youthful image she portrays (via the neat figure and a bit of surgery). She was surprisingly bad though. Still, if you go on a programme like that you open yourself up to judgement (good and bad) so I`m sure she won`t be exactly slitting her wrists over it. It`s a bit of fun, after all.

I think she looks fantastic - and if that's down to Botox, facelifts, or whatever else, so what? Good for her!

She can't dance though, that's for sure.

All I could think of was watching her at the end of the programme and she was self analysing- almost realising that she had blown her own inability in a public domain and she was realising that it would have an affect on her career - quite sad to see really - I hope she gets better - and SOON

lets all settle down to SCD and watch what unfolds - Oh how I love to criticise all those taking part, I take 'to criticise' to mean the good and the bad so will be watching very carefully.

All former contestants always say it was the scariest but most fun thing they have done in their lives so I imagine that has a bit to bear on why people do it.

i cant stand Lulu either - and i hate the statement 'she/he looks good for their age'............ thats rubbish - you either look good....or you dont the age is TOTALLY irrelevant!

I too think she looks fantastic - she just lost the plot and then got somewhat carried away.
