I watched this again tonight, once again in tears at this impossible love story. I'm not the soppy sort but this was probably the most tender and romantic thing I've ever seen in my life.

Anyway....QUESTION!!! I would love to know if the pair got together in the 21st Century (or any of the other couples for that matter) and if they are still together. I would be SO pleased for them!!!!

I saw some of that series last year.Is that the couple where she was older than him?If so,I think I remember reading that the relationship didn't last unfortunately but they stayed friends.Don't know anything about the others.
