Jennifer Grey bears no resemblance whatsoever to the girl who starred in Dirty Dancing. It's hard to believe they are the same person. What do yiou think she's had done? A nose job for starters...

Definitely a nose job.I was reading today that she had it done not long after DD and her career didn't succeed because no one recognised her. Was she on Strictly in the US with Derek Hough (Cheryl Cole's ex) and won it or something and it's revived her career. I have no idea what else she's had done but she looks great...her hair is also a lot darker.

She had the nose-job done years ago. She played Mindy in Friends in the 90s and already didn't look anything like baby back then.

Seems that way cazzz. have to feel sorry for her as being honest by celebrity standard she was no great beauty in DD, I expect she knew that and wanted to do something that in fact backfired - good example of cutting off one's nose to spite one's face!

I was thinking the same thing Prudie, I remember her being in Friends but couldn't believe it was her, I froze the picture a good few times but it still looked nothing at all like the old Jennifer Grey. Amazing what a nose job can do for you really, unless it was more than a nose job!

oddly, tonight Alesha looks a lot older than usual - certainly older than Jennifer who was born long before her but has clearly had help to look youthful. I notice Jennifer gives everyone an 8 - is that down to surgery too?!

When she was on the Dancing thing, we were in the US and saw her being interviewed. She has apparently had some horrendous health problems, her back and neck I believe. She was told at one point that doing the dancing show could actually kill her if her neck problem recurred.

Wasn't she badly injured in a car accident in Ireland with Matthew Broderick when they were going out years ago? Perhaps that's where her back & neck problems stem from.

She met Matthew Broderick while filming Ferris Bueller's day off and they had a bad car crash which affected her spine. She had a medical before doing the US Strictly and a tumour was discovered so she missed that series but danced in a later one and won.
When she had her nose done, she said that she went into surgery a celebrity and came out anonymous! She is the daughter of Joel Grey who starred in Cabaret with Lisa Minelli.
