I've caught a bit of Celebrity Grime-Fighters on ITV2. This features well-known people cleaning up muck basically. People like Neil Morrissey. I thought he has a pretty good careergoing still, so what on earth possessed him to do this? Andrew Castle too, who not long ago was a major breakfast telly host and still is a top tennis pundit. Are these celebs so absurdly insecure that they think they have to be on tv as much as poss - even on something as dire as this - or they'll be forgotten? Or can the fee really be that good? I cannot believe that if I was in their position I'd say yes to any of this rubbish (pun intended). Would you?

Money talks, and celebs however small are afraid of being forgotten, so they will probably take the advice of their agents and do it to show they are up for anything.
utter trash tv.
Literally, ann.

Unfortunately it is a hard business and people have to be seen. Also their agents will be putting them forward for this sort of thing and agents need their clients to be working so they can get their cut.
I think Neil Morrissey needs the money....I'm sure I saw a programme about him being bankrupted and having to work his socks off to pay off all his debts.
It's a wonder Biggins and Vanessa Feltz weren't on it!!
