Hey,
I was just wondering if anyone could come up with any similarities Photography has with Radio?

both are only partial representations of reality, I suppose: one is image without sound, the other is sound without image
Both can be deceiving - you don't know who is speaking on the radio because you can't see them, and photography can de doctored to mislead.
or to put it another way round, both call on your imagination (more than TV does, for instance)
historically speaking, they both brought different 'realities' and experiences to a wider audience! if you imagine that before both media, facts and records would have looked very different!

(are you including telegraph, cinema and newspapers btw?)
