beeney's restoration nightmares

i know i'm not really able to moan about how people bring up their children but really her and her husband take the biscuit in this programme.
Every week their children run around breaking things, jumping on things, getting in people's ways, shouting, screaming holding up work etc. And the parents just shrug their shoulders as if to say "oh well, what can you do?"

It's the same with the Orangery, they had a new carpet down then decided to plasterboard the walls, but left the carpet down. The kids are having a wonderful life by the look of it but they ride scooters in the (dusty) hallway and generally jump all over the place. It must have cost a fortune to do it all up.
I think they are a lovely family. Sarah and her husband obviously adore each other and their children and I wish I'd have had a childhood like that. It's a massive house so why does it matter that the kids right their bikes around the corridors. It would take their little legs ages to get from one end to the other without them. They are all so laid back and spend so much time with the children who I think are a credit to them. And I wish I had a brother like Dicken? he's fabulous. I think Sarah Beeney is a very lucky lady and it has been a delightful programme. I'm a total control freak but I wish I was more like her.
