Adrian Chiles has been booted from Daybreak because ITV failed to see that he was a graceless morose humourless buffoon who struck a chord with a football audience, and has a range of emotions from A to B and back again.

From this report, he has remained true to form to the very last.

I really can't see what this fuss over two presenters is all about !

These "sofa" programs that infest our televisions these days are lightweight waffle. They are filled with boring people, faffing on about uninteresting topics. Andy was right you know...everybody IS famous for 15 mins !

This last week we have lost Ken Russell, a consumate program maker for TV.

Will the BBC have the guts to put on any of his marvelous programs like "Song of Summer" or will they fill the airwaves with yet more twaddle ?

He doesn't follow the usual mould and I found him personable, witty and excellent on the One Show.

There are plenty of people that do like him. Perhaps the Daybreak programme was not right for his particular style - the One Show was - it was he that made it popular so very quickly. Since he left, it has just become the mundane same old, same old.

Completely agree with mikey4444. I don't know how people get so worked up about TV show presenters. If you don't like them, watch something else.
