The program that is on at 9pm on ITV1 is called Without You. Can anyone tell me if this is based on a film with the same or similar storyline?

Not sure but this is based on the Nicci French novel "What to Do When Someone Dies"

But I must admit the premise so far does seem familar
great book of Nicki French

I think there is definately an American film with a very similar story?
Good so far but a bit far fetched when she went into the wood where the accident happened in the middle of the night when she'd had a sleeping pill ....
I enjoyed it.
It reminded me of truly madly deeply - the woman talked to ghosts in that as
well! I'ts rather slow, but I still want to know how it ends.
Me too cupid.

Darn it I forgot it was on. I really enjoyed Truly, Madly, Deeply, it is a series?
1st episode of 3. It was quite good I thought and worth sticking with.
it was quite good, but will never be as good as truly madly deeply.
I enjoyed it and am looking forward to seeing how it pans out. I thought though that overplayed the point that everyone else believed it must have been an affair- many of her friends were more rude to her and less sympathetic than friends would be in real life.
I think it's going to become more of a Thriller than a "T.M.D type of story. She's going to find out that it wasn't an accident at all.
I think the best mate is a bit dodgy....lol
Me too.
damn i missed it :-(
When they were in the bathroom and she said that the men would be queuing up...she had a bit of a manic look on her face.
Would have preferred it without the Ghost, but enjoyed it anyway. Yes, I too think best mate is dodgy
A bit 'single white female'
Would tie in perhaps with the dead woman's agency?
