Harry Judd wins Strictly, his McFly bandmates rush from the audience on to the dancefloor to congratulate him, Bruce clearly mistakes them for hooligans and runs around shouting "Get Off!" and smacking them with his cue cards. One of the most cringey things I've ever seen on live tv. A minute later he was heard saying they were Harry's bandmates, but I'm sure that was only after someone had a word in his ear. What did you think of that incident?

I don't just 'tolerate' him. Strictly wouldn't be the same without him. A lot of ageist people out there !
There's a very small reference to the incident here - I guess there may be more in tomorrow's newspapers http://www.dailymail....d-crowned-winner.html
DT ,
I too makes typo mistooken....was just saying is all....no harm meant I assure you.
very cringeworthy, also at the end when they carried Harry up on their shoulders, Brucie was saying 'let him dance, let him dance, his got to dance' getting all worked up.
I thought he was joking. He knows who they are, they have been there every week! Personally I thought it was quite funny....each to their own! :)
Having taped it, I've just run it back and it is pretty obvious he knew who they were. It seemed to be all in good fun.
Of course it was all in good fun. Too many people on here just like to take a rise out of the elderly. I hope he goes on for many more years yet - luv you Brucie !!!
Yes, a nothing band that will be gone this time next year killed off a man who has entertained the public this last 50 years, definitely. Please note sarcasm.

chrissa, I've also watched it back and totally disagree. also, take a look at Dougie Poynter's twitter page to see what he said about it.
Ageism....lol
brucie knows all the mcfly boys from weeks of them being on set each week, bbc knew the chance of a floor invasion wasnt an unlikely thing, considering tom diving on dougie when he won i'm a celeb. i saw it as a "carry on " get off get off!! moment from bruce and loved it for the live ,it's all going wrong moment it was;-)
I can't stand Bruce Forsyth now, he was great in the 70's and 80's in game shows. However these days its all about "Look at me"

He is loving being the centre of attention at the BBC with the likes of the dinner for Brucies bithday. Where we had to listen about his time with his pal (Not) Sammy Ray Jnr and how they can sang, danced and got along.

Time to do the right thing and retire Sir Bruce ? zzzzzzzzzzzzzz !
Who cares ?
it was embaressing, esp as he shoooed off the dad too! x

Good for Brucie I say!!!!

I cant really believe that anybody would think that this could effect his career in any way!! lol lol
me too Ratter15
I always get the feeling everyones laughing more at him than with him.
it wasn't as bad as i remembered! and i don't think it will harm brucie! x
For anyone in the entertainment business, causing people to talk about the programme afterwards is not a bad thing. I dont think he can kill off his career as he is old enough that his future will be for as long as he can stay alive. I watched this and thought it was good humoured banter at the time. Whether he knew or didnt know the people, he kept moving and doing something - unlike a recent X factor moment in America where the compere froze as soon as something unforeseen happened.
I can't believe people took Bruce's shooing off seriously...it was a lot funnier than his jokes.
