Is there anything special on over Christmas that you are looking forward to watching?
Two programmes I'm looking forward to are Corrie and Downton Abbey.

I'm looking forward to Downton and Ab Fab, but I'm sure there are a couple more that I've forgotten about.
Love Dickens so was looking forward to a three parter of 'Great Expectations' until I saw a trailer showing Miss Haversham. She looked about 28 and yet in the book she was an older woman who had been jilted when a young woman so the wedding dress no longer fitted over the shrunken flesh, etc. Bit of a purist but will still watch it! Also both Downton and Corrie as always. Lke Ab Fab too! Might have to just record a lot as we have guests.
Mrs Browns Boys
Christmas Crackers, every day at 9pm on sky 1 check them out they are really special.
'Outnumbered'

Hi Yoga - Happy Christmas x - I agree with you about Miss Haversham and shan't be watching it because of that stupid casting. I can think of plenty of really good actresses that could have taken that part.

I agree that Gillian "Scully" Anderson doesn't look like the traditional Miss Havisham, but she'll be thrilled to hear you've knocked 15 years off her age.

I'm looking forward to Doctor Who, and would recommend the film "Nativity" on BBC2 on the 23rd. I'm not a huge Xmas OR kid fan, but it really is a lovely film.
