Anyone watch this? Got to be the best show for a long time.
Laughing one minute to wanting to cry the next. And it's all completely true.
Such a great insight into what the police and the criminals really think.

Think he finds the stuff involving children the most difficult (but as I said, wish he lived nearer as he would be a brilliant role model for my boys). He seems to thoroughly enjoy the challenge of it all though.
It was a great change from the usual cop programmes.
I liked the the quote from the CID guy who said they should be locked up in a 20ft high cell and let them get on with it!
That burglar waster said he would prefer jail than a police cell as he would get 3 meals a day and a TV!
Pity we don't follow the Asian way when its 20 to a cell with only minimal food and no perks, they would soon learn their lesson!

Best cop show I've seen for a long time - it got down to the nitty gritty of police work.
I used to work for a criminal solicitors in Manchester and 90% of the clients were like the burglar scumbag on the programme. No remorse and same old faces going to court week in, week out. I really feel for the police - these criminals deserve everything they get, but not a cushy prison. They have better facilities in prison than they do at home, that's why they're not bothered if they get a prison sentence. The justice system should toughen up.
