Every Minute....yukky, didnt realise how much that woman vomited during her labour ! Why are some women sick like this ?? I know some of them may poo a little, but actually vomiting ? Are they ill ?

It's the pain, and getting rid of bodily stuff you don't need, to leave your body free to do what it needs to do. Same if you have a heart attack - people often vomit and poo, to get rid of stuff you don't need at that minute.

I puked in all my labours. I was also violently sick after I gave birth to my youngest. Then I went into shock. Very unpleasant experience.

Was she taking gas and air?

No she was in the birhing pool and she suddenly started to puke her stomach up ! Loads of it ! Poor thing.

Oh I must have missed that bit. I threw up as soon as I'd given birth and missed out on the cup of tea!

Most likely sick due to nerves and it was meconium she passed ( Baby pooing whilst still in the womb ) she wanted a pool birth but couldnt becase of baby passing meconium which can be dangerous

I could never watch a live birth, it's far too gory. Why would anyone want to ?
