I wish the script writers or researchers who do their homework?
There is no way the Taxi driver accused at first would have been given a licence if he had spent time in prison for assault or GBH.
His application would have to been granted, only if he had passed the CIB check and, he wouldn't have been a proper person to hold a carriage licence!

Watch the American version it's briiliant .
UK version is very good and they use the US version in the stories .
But you can't beat Lennie Briscoe and Logan .

I do agree daffy .
They do sort of follow the US American version regarding the stories but nowhere near as as good as the US versions.
I love dear old Bradley ..but he can't compete with the late great Jerry Orbach.
I like SVU too .I'm an American cop show junkie .
Have you see Homicide .Life on the Street ?
It's brilliant ..Richard Belzer from SVU is in it .
