Anybody watch this on Wednesday night C5?
It seems we are having to spend vasts amount of money on people who are supersized including having specially made ambulances etc in case they need to be taken to hospital.
The majority of obese people cannot even move from their beds and have to have people go in on a daily basis to care for them.

My question is this, who feeds them?

If they are confined to bed, then someone else must be in charge of their food so why can't they just be given healthy food so they would lose weight.

I quite agree with you missprim, that's my thoughts exactly.
They props have carers who assist and possibly a dietician who advises "healthy stuff" BUT id bet money that "caring or sympathetic" family members sneak in the treats....plus someone of tht size is likely addicted to sugary things i think and you cant just stop them- even if its for their own good!

Sad sad situationxx
Yes tinkerbell23 it is very sad and I do feel for these people, my OH is a bit over weight and I felt guilty that it was my fault, because I do all the cooking but myself and son are not over weight. It's the extras like biscuits, crisps.pop, chocolate etc, that he sneaks into his diet that makes all the difference. This is a choice that he makes because he can. These oversized people cannot, they do rely on others and is it fair that they keep feeding them the wrong stuff. No it is not fair. This is strong to say but it is cruel, not being kind.
