Is that fireman Paul using Eileen as a cheap carer for his wife so he can carry on working because he cant afford a proper carer ? I dont understand the storyline here.

I cant get my head round what the plot is leading to either, i remember him from Hollyoaks, i thought firefighters had to be on the tall side? Ive stood next to him and hes only about 5'7?

As far as I know curlyperm there are no height requirements, only fitness.

I don't see the relationship between Eileen and Paul working out in the long run.

So firefighter Paul keeps mentioning redundancies etc at his station so is asking Eileen to take time off work to look after his wife so he can work ?! I dont get it....she is being used, must be...poor Eileen.

As much as I like Eileen, I don't think she's 'poor' at all, just very wrong.

I don't like this storyline .It makes me feel uncomfortable and I can't help wondering what the husbands and wives of people with dementia think.Paul is being unfaithful in a disgusting way. I hope this storyline ends soon
