I haven't seen episode 5 but the question I ask myself is when he first go's to pray, he qo's to the garage, the only place there were no cameras. He was all alone in the house so why bother to go to the garage. Answer someone told him.
// I seem to be in a minority in thinking he hasn't been turned. Most of my friends think he has. //
I'm inclined to think he hasn't because it looks so much like he has with the praying and everything else.
The woman's CIA boss is very suspicious. A clue was revealed towards this last night when she mentioned he'd spent a few months in captivity himself.
As has been mentioned, he could have slipped the razor to the prisoner himself when he was in there - specifically when handing him the crayon and paper to write the addresses on.
I'm gripped too. I think that Brody knew about the cameras in the house and was acting as though he was suffering as he new he was being watched and he knew there wasn't any in the garage. I think he has been radicalised and that Danny is in on it.
re Carrie's tablets - don't know what they are but seem to recall from first episode that they were to control some family trait of psychoses or schizophrenia or something of that ilk.
She (and her Dad) is bi-polar.
She is trying to keep it quiet as she believes that it would have a negative impact on her career. Her sister was supplying her with a small amount of tablets but she stole her Dad's to ensure that she had a supply. I don't think she has been medically diagnosed, for the reasons given above.
Zeuhl I think as long as you know which direction Meccas in you can pray anywhere. Obviously I can't argue right or wrong just roll along on a bit of supposition :-)
I do know they have commissioned a 2nd series so I am afraid we may not get a conclusion soon and I realy hope we don't get into Lost territory. Brody is finished series 1 and something else series 2
It was alluded to in the first episode. They're to control her bi-polar condition. I missed a little bit of last night's episode but I *think* her father suffers from the same condition.
Re: Brody and the 'blind spot' (ie. the garage). If he knew that was the only place that wasn't covered by the CCTV, then he would've had to have been told by one of the guys working with Carrie...?
I for one will not be watching a second series if this one doesn't have a satisfactory conclusion!
I think Brody is innocent and will turn out to be the hero of the day. Only a guess though.
Ive seen the entire season and it is pretty good I have to admit - a little predictable in places but there is a good twist that I did not see coming. I really enjoyed it.
In last week's episode, they were following the guy who bought the house under the flight path. How did his wife know to wave the flag out of the window to warn him not to stop at their house?
