There seems to be a lot of different versions of the film E.T. but all I want is the film as it was when it first came out, not one of the enhanced or remastered versions, which seem to have had bad reviews for the changing of some scenes. So any suggestions as to which version I should buy? Ta Muchly.

it ddoes seem difficult to buy the original but I have looked at the options on Amazon and there is a 20th Anniversary edition available, which contains both the original 1982 version and an updated version. You may not want both but at around £5 would that matter?

Hi Chelle, yes I can use amazon and it seems that I'll have to choose what you suggest, keep the original and bin the other version. I can't use ebay oj, because I've got a screen reader and it is very difficult to use with other sites/programs sometimes, as it wants to fight with everything!...smile...even on AB I have to struggle to post an answer sometimes.
