Titanic is BORING!

After a rubbish secopnd series of Downton Abbey, Julian Fellowes has achieved the impossible: he's made Titanic boring! I thought the re-make of Upstairs Downstairs (not by him, of course) disappointing, but this is truly awful...so far.

I remember the first series of Downton and how much we cared about all the characters and storylines. The man has totally lost it.

We lasted 15 minutes, very boring and the clarity of sound was very bad.

I haven't even looked at it. I cannot understand why they keep repeating the same things over and over again when there are so many interesting stories about.

In promoting this, Fellowes was very critical of James Cameron's movie. Well, this series doesn't hold a candle to the movie. I didn't give two hoots about any of the characters or stories.

Less boring that the truly dreadful James Cameron error ridden travesty but s..l..o..w nevertheless. The Titanic story has been done to death and should be left alone for a long time. Nothing new, nothing shocking..we know the ending and that's half the trouble. This time there wasn't even a rotten song or laughable seduction in an old car to lighten proceedings.

It was dreadful, as was the awful 90's film which was dire. This was better:

I don't want to watch it because I don't want to end up crying and depressed. I regretted watching the film :o(
