thos, I think she knew why the house was chosen. Her husband wanted them to give themselves up, but she wouldn't. And who shot him anyway? It couldn't have been the CIA because they wouldn't have disappeared from the scene immediately afterwards.

Alba, That's a thought.

I'm now wondering if Carrie's mental health is relevant to the plot. Why would the writers give her a disorder that, as far as we've seen, hasn't affected her ability to work and has made no difference to the story?

in the first couple of episodes, carrie went off tarted up got drunk and I think shagged a random bloke or two, that's going to be relevent to a cia agent from a security risk point of view.
I think the 'patti hearst' character aileen is just odd, but maybe there is a point to her being the rich kid gone bad. I think there is a leak at the HQ and Saul's wife is a random character that at this stage hasn't proved a reason for being there.

Love Homeland, look forward to watching it every week but I was hoping it would reach a conclusion at the end of it's 12 week run but it's true there has been another series commissioned so not sure how I feel about having to wait months to watch it again but I will.

It's brilliant, Damian Lewis and Clare Danes are great (and the bird that plays his wife is gorgeous) but the whole story is intrigue from start to finish. It's unmissable!

My money's still on Saul being a baddie, he failed the polygraph about giving the razor blade to that prisoner who killed himself, it's never been mentoned since but must still be on record.
Someone suggested that if this were a discussion on Corrie etc someone would have chipped in with comments about it's only a TV programme etc. It only demonstrates the inverted snobbery re soaps!

Saul did a second test lie test which showed him NOT lyong when asked again about the razor blade.
Brodie says he killed the other guy, but the baddies obviously took him away and just told Brodie he was dead.
