No. There was a hint a few weeks ago when they said they would ring her for some more hotpots but nothing came of it.

steve has been saying she's ill. But thought theyd have mentioned she'd died by now.

I thought some time ago they'd mentioned in the press about a funeral in March - my mistake perhaps as tis now April

There's supposed to be a story about Betty soon and a surprise that I won't mention in case you don't like spoilers.

I heard it has taken time to put together because they are trying to get as
many members of corrie from the old days back to give Betty a decent send
off. Hilda Ogden was mentioned. Cant think of anyone else off the top of my
head. Bett Lynch as well. Not many still living are there? They cant bring back
the Duckworths because they killed them off.

yes when the mentioned the 'funeral in march' they said about old characters.

Do they have to mention her .The good lady has gone why would the put the family through another "funeral " Benny went for a spanner and did not come back for years .

Yes its a big story about Betty dying coming in the soap soon ...... it will be sad for the actors acting out the funeral as its sort of for real .....
