I saw the beginning of "Come Dine With Me" the other day which was from somewhere in the north west of England, I think. The opening shots showed a strange sculpture, which looked as if it was made with a lot of metal tubes welded together. It was on a hilltop somewhere. I know this is a bit vague, but does anyone know where/what it is? Thanks.

Could it be B of the Bang in Manchester? I thought it was beautiful but bits kept dropping off it so it got taken down.

No, I would have recognised that. But thanks, anyway, for answering so quickly!

Well, I found it by vaguely googling sculture lancashire pipes. It is called Singing Ringing Tree and there is a picture of it on Wikipedia.
Just in case ABers would like to read up. : )

Thanks for the link Shooty. That looks fab!
Yes it does. never heard or seen it before. I bet it sounds great in the wind : )
It's great, I think I shall be making a trip to Burnley when the weather gets better!
I live fairly near there, and it really does sing when the wind's up, which is pretty often round here :-)

Thanks everyone. I would love to see it if I am ever that far north.
