Why do such a brilliant storyline with Leslie , and then within one episode she is dead and they have split up? It makes no sense at all. Surely it would have been better to keep them together and face the suspicions of everybody as to what really happened with leslie, how would they cope with the guilt etc. very silly ending

I agree with you, but would you really want a relationship with a man that clearly can only love his wife ?
Not really, apparently in 2014 Eileen steps out of the shower to find out it was all just a dream.

Yes but it would have made more sense for them to be together for a while and then for Eileen to realise he would never get over leslie
True but I think it is not the end of the story, and yes know it is only a 'soap'
i haven't watched second ep yet, but i thought the first was really well portrayed!

"True but I think it's is not the end of the story" ??
good grief, we hope it is !
Why did he walk down the street with his bag when recently he has been seen in a car.....dont the producers realise we notice these things!
I won't miss him. I liked Dennis (he went to Casualty later) - I'd just like Eileen to have a nice partner she deserves (and yes I know it's a soap too).

I also hope that the script writers bear in mind that it was when they introduced drugs and guns and made Lindsay Corkhill into a gangster, it was the kiss of death to the programme.
Another rubbish story line from Corrie writers.
Toooo many deaths in Corrie it's just getting ridiculous.
Paul and Eileen no chemistry and why would she put up with his whinging and going on about his wife all the time?
Another ridiculous story at the moment, Karl and Sunita.Again no chemistry and just cringe worthy really.
I always watch it though :-)
yes, karl and sunita is an awwwwwful cringer!

and now she is trying to mend him!

Horseshoes do you mean Dennis Tanner and who was Lindsay Corkhill in Corrie?
This bloke was looking for a person to look after his wife whilst he carried on his own life, I think it was very unfair of him to involve Eileen in something that a professional body should have been doing, person with Dementia need special care.
paul has told lies from the start ...

and lindsay corkhill was in brookie!
I wish they would bring Brookside back, now there was a good soap.

WR.
Question Author
ooh whiskey I loved Brookside!
i loved brookie! i loved the saturday teatime omnibus!
Couldn't stand Brookside myself. The accents grated on me something terrible.
