I know Ireland gave the UK 8 points, but does anyone know who else voted for us?

malta gave us 5  and im not sure but i think greece did aswell so much for us having european friends
Each year I wonder why we bother! Our song wasn't the worst by a long way, so how come we finished so far down? If all the voting is political - if??? - then why not find some other way of deciding? I was enjoying the fun until Moldova got to top slot!
Ireland - 8, Malta - 4, Turkey - 1, Cyprus - 5
I suggest that each country gets GIVEN a song to sing, without knowing the country that wrote it. Then everyone can vote on the SONG and not the country. There is no way you can tell nowadays since most of those songs last night sounded identical (using ethno-pop/Bollywood chords and dancers based on last year's winners.) Most countries sing in English now, and for those that don't, there are subtitles from teletext or interactive.

Once again the contest was spoiled by political voting.  Our song was not the worst and I feel for Javine as she must be annoyed about her finishing position.  In my opinion the song from Moldova was trash and yet they finished well up.

Perhaps the smaller European countries are trying to push the likes of UK, Spain, France and Germany out of the competition.

Then again, half the fun is laughing at the votes coming in.
