TV Prog about a little girl who died of Alzheimer's/similar

Hi I'm trying to look into a programme that was on TV in early April about a little girl who died of something similar to Alzheimer's - it focused on her Mum's total care & devotion to her, during and after suffering cancer - the little girl was only about 9 when she died (this year), and sadly began to lose her memory and forgot how to do basic everyday things. It was either on ITV or C4 - can anyone remember it? TIA
