Who is Sylvia? What is she, that all her swains commend her?
On the same topic, what has happened to Kirk? He is mentioned occasionally but never seen. I think he plays the pat of gormlessness to perfection.

Perhaps not, but Corrie has its stock of 'comic' characters, and as such Kirk played a good part.
