TV freezing on a Wednesday
5 Answers
Hi everybody.
I have a Technika TV with built-in Freeview and a Humax PVR. Every Wednesday (and only on a Wednesday) I am unable to change channels with the remote control and also unable to access the menu and guide functions. In other words, I can put the TV on and then change channels once (or access the menu/guide) but then I can't do anything and have to switch TV off at the mains and start again. If I do manage to access the guide it will only populate two or three sections before freezing.
I can see the transmitter mast lights (Black Isle, Scottish Highlands) so there aren't mountains blocking the signal, and why is it only on a Wednesday?
Help please or are there any other sufferers out there?
Thanks.

With our digibox I find it works better if I change the EPG (electronic programme guide) to display now/next.
There are options for 7 day and teletext.
The teletext one seems to be sponsored, and display adverts. This seems to lock it up while it downloads stuff.
