i dont really understand the significance though?  Rose said those words were following them around, but ive never seen a reference in any other episode

I thought RTD's dialogue was an absolute scream all the way through.

The slitheen saying - Oh God i am going native and becoming welsh......

and if the south coast slid into the sea, London wouldnt notice....

Not to put a spoiler around or anything, but it's all gonna be made clear next week - anyone who saw Saturday's episode would have seen the preview for next week - Bad Wolf has something to do with a reality show the Doctor has been unknowingly been a part of (a la Truman show). Next week he finds out what it's all about... and there's Daleks in it too!
