Did anyone watch Alan Carr's Summer show, last night, it was not only a load of tosh but it was disgusting to say the least.

I don't know what Olympic Runner Mo Farah thought of 'our' humour when 'Camp Carr' asked female Olympic Boxer Nicola Adams if it hurt when they were punched in the t1ts?

And then there was a staged tug of war between Jonathon Ross v Fatima Whitbread, in which they were shown supposedly fighting over a knitted garment in the sales, and Fatima pulled Ross up in the air to land on a padded mattress.

Why didn't she pull harder so that he missed the mattress, how much lower can Ross go to earn a few bob?

Yes I did switch it off, and watched much better TV on BBC 4 a whole lot of programmes on Easy listening Music.

did not watch..suspected it would be load of old rubbish !
I watched it and enjoyed most of it.

Mo seemed to be laughing loads. Do you think he's been sheltered from this kind of humour since arriving in the UK?
Surely you knew that Mr Carr is as funny as a boot in the nuts at the best of times or did you imagine that he'd decided to make the place vacated by Gore Vidal his own?

It is hard to tell with him since he seems to have a perpetual smile on his face, although he seemed rather uncomfortable at the boxing remark.
Must admit that it didn't have me gripped so I missed lots of comments.

I only kept it on because of Keith Lemon :-)

Are you telling me you were suprised at the content of the show ?

It was Sugar btw.
I like Alan Carr- he was good on Radio 2 with his own music show- but he is scraping the barrel now on his TV show. I watched it because I wanted to see some of the Olympians but after 15 minutes I was bored and eventually turned off. His filmed sketches were just not funny at all.
Alan Carr has been 'moonlighting' as a comedian for years-seriously un-funny person, borderline creepy actually. To me anyway.
The big question from the very excellent documentary on easy listening was - what was up with Richard Carpenter???

Re: Alan Carr - he's a known entity, with a known style of humour. Hes very much along the same limes as Jeremy Clarkson - you other love him or hate him.

Not sure what he did that could be described as 'disgusting' though.
I neither love him, or hate him.
Hello oldgit. I can stand pretty much anything on tv, but I must agree, it was pretty lame, and yes I switched over but for different reasons. I also think FW is a transgender, but my husband thinks differently????? Just because we didn't like it, it doesn't mean that others didn't. We have to look at the time at which it was aired, just maybe the powers that be, programmed this show to be very controversial, and at a time when those younger people have swilled their way through the evening, and may be tempted to go home and watch a basic show such as this one. The theory behind that idea is to get the booze fuelled aggressors of the street and safely into their homes before the fists take over. Only a theory....;)

So you must think that it is acceptable ask a female, "Does it hurt when you get hit in the T*ts, especially in front of other guest of mixed gender and an audience of millions to boot?

Times may have changed but my generation think, that to ask a Lady such a thing, is 'DISGUSTING'.
AOG - precisely; and Creepy Carr is always disgusting. Not surprising he's not a ladies' man.
I gave up watching Alan Carr ages ago, his humour just doesn't appeal to me. I find him a tad creepy !
