Humorous, but Sledge Hammer did it so much better.

before Sledgehammer was Police Squad.
I disagree. Police Squad and Sledgehammer were funny, but seriously dummed down for Americans. Touching Cloth was far subtler...
Didn't see it but was doing it driving home from work this evening
What channel was it on. I forgot all about it!

Oh for heavens' sake - it's called A Touch of Cloth! Now I feel foolish.

It's on Sky 1, cupid.
It was so full of cliches that we kept missing things.
We were interrupting the dialogue with comments about the visual gags.
We need to watch it again.
I particularly enjoyed the ice cream van... :-)
Missed the ice cream van, Mark. Which bit was that?
Oh, I know. When he said, Two nine, nine, nines please'.
That wasn't the subtle and clever bit, though...
Was it something painted on the van?
We howled with laughter all the way through it. We'll definitely be watching it again.
It's on again tonight.
Anyone know if episode one is being repeated, I've searched Sky and can find epi 2 but 1 is not clear due to lack of blurb.
Mark, answer my question please.
Found it, it's on for 2 hours on Fri.
