Will try to avoid ranting about what I see as one of the best shows ever.
The surgery scenes: are these actual surgeries, or fake bodies, or dead bodies, or what?

Trouble they would do that because 'Nip/Tuck' is a fictional drama imported from the USA, and it is very difficult to use a real person every time you wish to film the scene of a plastic surgery operation, so obviously something else would be used. Latex models is one option, but given its huge educational value, the bodies of dead people could hypothetically be used. But given kempie's answer, I think this is not the case.
lol, I know what you mean. I was convinced that one was real.
Literally did watch the whole Vanessa Redgrave moment through my fingers. I'm always amazed at the cavalier way they get going with those big knives.
I just love the series, think its beautifully crafted and the characters all seem 'real'.
