I saw it on Mick's link. That's just Frankie's style. Everyone finds humour in different things. He is known for his shock tactics and is probably loving all the free publicity this comment has given him.

Having read through the attached link - twice - what did he actually say which has caused such outrage? It doesn't tell us anything. Far from sticking up for him, it might have helped to justify all the sanctimonious hand wringing IF we were actually privvy to what Boyle allegedly said to cause all this fuss.

People, especially comedians say offensive things all the time. It's simply a case of avoid the person you find offensive. How many people here would have had a clue he had said that without it being discussed on here? Ill hasten to guess not many. Sometimes it's true that what you don't know can't hurt you.

All this is doing is giving him loads of free publicity, his entire act it to be outrageous and cause offence if possible. There are many who laugh at his jokes , his shows are normally a sell out. This will do his bank balance a world of good and is exactly the reaction he wants . If you want to hit him where it hurts , in the pocket, then just ignore him.
