Anyone watching Me and Mrs. Jones?

The new BBC sitcom.

My wife loves it but I find it a bit uncomfortable. Would it be acceptable if it were a father and his daughter's friend and was called Me and Mr. Jones?

I do admit the casting is very good.

Hmmm, I see what you mean, but if the father looked the same age as the daughter's friend perhaps it would be found acceptable. Would be better if Mum was perhaps played by someone who looked older than 30. But I enjoyed it too hc.

None of my son's friends ever made any advances towards me ;o(. I must admit that some of them were very nice and I got loads of cuddles, but only motherly cuddles. I suppose fathers would be frowned upon for cuddling their daughters' friends though, even in a fatherly way. It is not a fair world.

Watched the first episode, but didn't bother with the second last night. Preferred Mrs. Jones in coupling and I wil never be able to see inspector Linley in the same light, he cant do comedy in my opinion.

I don't know loftie, my dad cuddled my friends. They went to him for a cuddle...but he wasn't young and good looking, he was old and fat.

But, it makes me laugh, as did the new Comedy about the Liverpool lad taking his wife home to the family for the first time. Can't remember what it is called. Has Ruth Jones in it as the Barmaid.

Ah, bless him ummmm. My dad was a good looking man but not aware of it. He wouldn't have dreamed of cuddling my friends (well he might have!! - who knows ;o) )

My dad is 75 and still flirts even in front of his girlfriend and gets away with it.

My dad was 63 when he died Cupid :o( and still young looking and attractive. Perhaps older men are more like grandads and thus more acceptable to cuddle
