I thought that the VP would become president and then Brodie be his VP. The president woudl get topped and Brodie by default would step into the top job. Now he's been rumbled who thinks he will now be 'turned' by David and Saul and the plot will now see the naughty guys be given up by Brodie? Who else will be revealed in the government as Al Q?

I agree.

Can't help thinking the daughter is going to become instrumental to the plot.

Who knows? Carrie will be in trouble for blowing the surveillance operation, and Brody's in even bigger trouble ... it will be interesting to see where this is headingin the next episode.

BTW I think you should have put the word "- Spoilers" in the question title ...
I'm not sure I entirely trust Saul to be what he appears to be - and Carrie doesn't trust the other bloke he brought in to watch Brodie. The plot thickens.....
This prompted me to go looking at the Homeland site:

http://www.sho.com/sho/homeland/home

Very interesting! Warning - there be spoilers ...
I'm going to resist clicking on that link ..... I think .....

Oooooooo..........

No, I won't do it!
Yes, do be careful. I thought that C4 was roughly up to date with the US, but it looks to be an episode or two behind ...
I want to ask you if I'm heading in the right direction with this ... but I won't. :o/
I'm not looking either. This second series had me hooked within the first 10 minutes. Poor Carrie as he was being carted off 'And I loved you'....
I know ....... awful ....... and I think he loves her too....
... but maybe I'm making that bit up... I don't know. What do you think?
I'm not sure. He's very clever at hiding his true personality. I certainly don't think he loves his wife anymore nor finds her sexually attractive either.
I agree.

Can't help thinking the daughter is going to become instrumental to the plot.
Naomi24, we seem to be thinking along the same lines re the daughter. Can't be as simple as "blown", Lewis has signed a 5 year contract to the show! Estes will turn out to be pivotal and the mole, he's British, David Harewood, and the Americans like to use a Brisitsh actor for a hate character. He also was instrumental in Carrie's predicament in Series 1, he destroyed all her investigation into Azir's timeline. There again, Saul was responsible for having her arrested after the shooting!
Five years?! I'm not sure I can stand the suspense! :o)
The "five year contract" could be just a bit of misinformation put about by the producers ... ;)

As for what's coming next ... you don't learn THAT much at the link I gave. But you do learn a key piece of information about how the plot is going to develop, just as you might in a bad trailer. It won't really spoil it for me, but it might for some - a glimpse into the near future.

I didn't pick up any extra info about Saul (although I didn't hang around long). In series 1 I wasn't sure about Saul for a while, but by the end of it I was almost 100% sure he's solid. My mind was made up in the episode featuring the long drive he had with the terrorist woman.
I'm not looking! I want to - but I'm not!!
Great viewing last night!

All the spoilers I saw last week were revealed, so I'm now as clueless as anybody ...
Please can we have spoilers in the title so that those of us that are catching up don't ruin the suprise.

By the way this is not aimed at you in particular Paul.
