On the radio on the way home tonight the presenter was saying he caught a bit of CIN that explained how Pudsey lost his eye; he then invited people to text in with their guesses before he would reveal the answer. It was then an advert and I changed the station and forgot to tune back in to find out the answer. Did anyone see this part of CIN and can shed any light on the issue?

I'm not aware of the programme on the radio however, i have believed for years that there was a child in the first CIN that had a bear with no eye, and a bandada across it .. And it was decided to adapt that toy as the mascot.

But i may be in error
can't remember exactly from friday's CIN sketch with geri halliwell but i think sooty threw a packet of crisps at him and geri covered his eye with her spotted handkerchief

Ahh ok, that's probably what the presenter was on about, it was a local radio show.

Thanks both by the way!
It was Misery Bear, not Sooty, that threw the crisps at Pudsey while they were both competing for Geri's phone number!
Question Author
Ahh so it was just a sketch thing, not a realistic explanation, if you can have a realistic explanation of how a cuddly toy lost his eye!
