Spike Milligan on Room 101

I had this in AVI format but the disk has corrupted.

Just spend hours trying to get ot off the disk to no avail.

I know it's a long shot, but has anyone out there got the program saved as an AVI and can share it with me?

Spike was my hero and I loved his appearence on Room 101.

His other good appearance was years ago on Blankety Blank with Terry Wogan, I never had that as an AVI as it was back in the 70's - but worth asking!

I am sorry I can't help you with an AVI of room 101,but if you are ever near Winchelsea in East Sussex,you can visit Spike's grave.He lived nearby at Udimore,and you can (just) see his house across the valley.His grave has (In Irish Gaelic,because the church authorities would not allow it in English) "You see, I told you I was ill!"

I live about 6 miles from Winchelsea.

Spike was a hero to me too, as I suffer (like he did) from Depression.So he was an inspiration to me.

You need some software called 'Azureus' that can download Bit Torrents. You might find it there. I can send you the software if you mail me at [email protected] or put it into you MSN

Azureus organises your Bit Torrents and allows you to access the world wide network of sharing them.

Whats a Bit Torroent right? Im no techy but a Bit Torrent is a file that seems to be able to be anything from Mp3 to .avi to whatever

Basically, if someone out there has your Room 101 on their system and also has Azureus running then you'll be able to download it from their computer to yours and upload to other peoples in a very right on socialist type of way

you'll need some Bit Torrent search engines to help you find out whats there.....   try   isohunt.com   or    torrentspy.com     or there are others......just search for them      tell me how you get on
